Call for Volunteer Baristas

Consciousness Coffee Co. is growing, and as a community-driven, small-batch shop, we’re looking to expand our team in a way that reflects our values of connection, craft, and creativity. We are seeking experienced baristas who are passionate about coffee, hospitality, and supporting an independent local business.

This is a volunteer role ideal for individuals who:

• Already have barista experience and enjoy practicing their craft

• Want to support a mission-driven, community-focused micro-roastery

• Love working in a warm, creative atmosphere

• Enjoy contributing to a meaningful local space

• Appreciate specialty coffee, intentional drink crafting, and good vibes

What Volunteers Receive:

• Opportunities to practice and refine your craft in a specialty-focused environment

• Hands-on experience with espresso, pour-over, immersion brewing, and signature beverages

• Free drinks during shifts

• Community, connection, and the chance to help a small business continue to grow

• Potential for future paid opportunities as the shop expands

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior barista experience (required)

• Reliability and consistent communication

• Friendly, customer-centered energy

• Interest in coffee education and craft beverage creation

• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of quality
